Still No Leads in French Couple’s Deaths

SINGARAJA

The deaths of a young French holiday couple at a small hotel in Banjar, Buleleng, on December 20 remains a mystery to local police.

Oliver Marroni, 35, and his wife Marron Scapin were found dead in the bathroom of their bungalow at Lumbung Bali Cottages an hour after they checked in.

The woman was naked in the shower and the man, fully clothed, was slumped across her body.

Police said they had checked whether the shower fitting was faulty and carrying live electricity but it was not.
