A 6.6-magnitude earthquake hit Aceh province on Sumatra island on Saturday, the Indonesian Meteorological and Geophysics Agency said.
The quake struck 24 kilometres northwest of Subulussalam town in Aceh at 11:34am at a depth of 103 kilometres, the agency said.
“The quake’s epicentre was on land. There are no reports of damage so far,” agency official Dedi Sugianto said.
