BADUNG, Bali – A Dutch tourist causes disturbance at a Nusa Penida hotel and was briefly detained at the Nusa Penida Police Station after allegedly causing unrest at the property on Tuesday, 18 November 2025. He remained at the station for two days before being officially handed over to his family, who had traveled all the way from the Netherlands to pick him up.
“The handover process went safely and smoothly on Thursday, the 20th,” AKP Kesuma Jaya added.

The police chief also reminded tourism operators in Nusa Penida to promptly report any incidents that may threaten public order or guest comfort.
“Nusa Penida Police are ready to take swift action to ensure safety and comfort for everyone,” he emphasized.
