Angkasa Pura I Ready to Enforce Tax Merger Airport

PT Angkasa Pura I International Airport Ngurah Rai, Bali, expressed its readiness to impose airport tax into reservation ticket started from January 1, 2015.

“The program will facilitate the passengers and reduce their check point before the flight, “said Co-General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I International Airport Ngurah Rai I Gusti Ngurah Ardita in Denpasar on Friday.

He explained that the policy applies only to the domestic airlines.

The policy is effective from January 1st, 2015 to reserve a plane ticket that will be combined with the cost of Passenger Service Charge (PSC) on every airline tickets for domestic flights.

The PSC for domestic route passengers, Ardita continued, at Ngurah Rai International Airport is charged IDR75 thousand, while for international routes passengers is charged IDR200 thousand.

During 2014, one of the busiest airports in Indonesia has been serving approximately 17.2 million people, an increase of approximately 10 percent compared to the same period in 2013.

The number of domestic passengers and international passengers has a narrow margin which reached 8.9 million domestic passengers and international passengers of 8.2 million people.
