NUSA LEMBONGAN ~ European tourists longing for sunshine are bringing good luck to the people of Nusa Lembongan islet just off the southeast coast of Bali, businesspeople say.

Owner of hotel Bungalow Number 7 Gede Suryawan said all hotels, which are usually quiet, were full to capacity with foreign tourists and guides usually unemployed during this season were now busy with guests.

“The number of international tourists has really grown in comparison with last month and this number was predicted to increased in the coming October,” Suryawan said on Wednesday.

A local divemaster, Rudy, said he was unusually busy, and had more tourists wanting to dive than he was able to take on.
