Bali Governor Invite Civil Servant to Fight Drugs

DENPASAR ~

Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika invited civil servants (PNS) in local provincial governments to support the fight against drug abuse.

“Fighting drugs is not only the task of the police, but also the task of the whole society, including the servant of the state,” Pastika said in Denpasar on Monday.

To his view, currently drug traffickers are very creative in doing crimes mode.

Therefore, Pastika appealed to all civil servants in order to support the fight against drugs and do not even join in becoming a dealer or user of illicit goods.

He added that currently drug trafficking knows no age, and anyone can be a consumer and a dealer as some cases are reported in the media.

Pastika warned almost the entire family would be devastated if one of the family’s member use drugs and the civil servants are asked to be careful if they find such things and immediately reported to the police.

“If you find such cases, immediately reported to the police in order to be actionable,” he said.

In addition, he reminded his staff to not to be easily fooled by case of doubling wealth with a short path that does not make sense.

“Therefore, do not be self-aggrandizement in order not too easily deceived by such business mode,” Pastika said.
