President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to open the 32rd annual Bali Arts Festival on Saturday.
The month-long fair features arts, crafts and traditional performances from Bali and around the country. This year artists from seven countries are also slated to take part in the colourful event.
Some 500 police officers will be deployed at the Bali Arts Centre in Denpasar to secure the festival, Bali Police said this week.
