Man Dies on Flight to Bali

DARWIN

A 68-year-old man died aboard a Jetstar flight from Sydney to Bali on Friday night, forcing the plane to divert to Darwin, the airline said.

The body of the man, whose wife was flying with him, was taken off the aircraft in the Northern Territory city, before the flight continued to Bali.

Northern Territory Police said there did not appear to be any suspicious aspects to the man’s death. The cause of death has not been determined.

Jetstar is the low-fare subsidiary of Australian flag-carrier Qantas.
