Dutchman Found Dead in Canggu Ricefield

A Dutchman was found dead on Thursday in the irrigation channel of a ricefield in Canggu, North Kuta, police said.
The man, Lew Lou Wing, 64, was found face down in the water channel by an Indonesian teenager passing by on a motorbike, said North Kuta Police chief I Nyoman Sukanada.
The dead man had lived in Canggu and his identification was found in a pocket of his clothing, said Sukanada.
It was not immediately known what the man died from.
His body was taken to Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar.
