JAKARTA ~
This week, Jakarta’s Police Office or Polda Metro Jaya plans to question four teachers of the Jakarta International School (JIS) who are allegedly involved in a sexual assault case.
“The police investigators are still gathering information from the victim and the mother,” spokesman of Polda Metro Jaya Senior Commissioner Rikwanto noted here Tuesday.
The investigators are also looking for additional evidence to name the suspects as they only have one from the victim and the plaintiff.
Psychological evaluation will be conducted on the victim to gather further information.
Polda Metro Jaya had requested the Immigration Office to postpone the deportation scheme for the four Elementary School teachers to help police investigation.
Earlier, on June 3, a mother with the initials DA reported to the Polda Metro Jaya that her son, OA, a kindergartener from JIS, was sexually assaulted.
OA is also an eyewitness for another molestation case of a 6-year-old JIS student with the initials AK.
The police had named five suspects in AK’s case: Agun, Awan, Zainal, Syahrial, and a woman named AS. One of the suspects named Azwar was found dead in a toilet in Polda Metro Jaya after allegedly committing suicide.
The suspects were outsourced labors from PT ISS Indonesia who worked as janitors in JIS.
