Jembrana Police have arrested another illegal logger operating in the Blimbingsari are near Melaya.

The man, from Banyuwangi, East Java, was caught red-handed cutting and carrying large quantities of teak wood.

Police said he tried to flee when police approached but was apprehended nearby later.

They have seized a quantity of timber and implements for cutting wood as evidence.

Local police and Jembrana crimes police cooperated in the arrest and are working together on the investigation.
