A colorful day highlighted by a procession of hundreds of Balinese celebrating the peak of the Dewasraya ceremony in Kintamani saw barongs, gamelan orchestras, priests and a host of locals come together to pray for the rebalancing of Bali. This year the double celebration, which needed half a billion rupiah, saw locals mix with numerous dignitaries and religious figureheads of the Balinese Hindu Dharma community. Seen amongst the colour and pageantry of the dramatic ceremony were Sarita Newson, Terje Nielson, Jill Gocher, Helen Fox and Lucienne Thynne.
