Governor Pastika Invites Indian Celebrities to Create Movie in Bali

Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika invited seven Indian celebrities that play in the Mahabharata epic series to make film in Bali.

Bali Governor stated that when welcomed the arrival of the seven celebrities in a convivial event in the Office of the Consulate General of India, Denpasar, on Sunday.

The arrival of the Mahabharata actors got special attention from the Governor.

He expressed his appreciation and pride, as well as inviting them to make a movie in Bali.

Those seven players are Rohit Bharadwaj (Yudhisthira), Saurav Gurjar (Bhima), Shaheer Sheikh (Arjuna), Vin Rana (Nakula), Lavanya Bhardwaj (Sahadev), Arpit Radka (Duryodaya) and Aham Sharma (Karna).

Their arrival in Bali got extraordinary acclaim from the fans who had gathered in front of the consulate. Hysterical screams of the fans, mostly from women, welcomed the arrival of the men whose face was familiar to lovers of Mahabharata.

Governor Pastika conveyed his pride for the visit of those Indian celebrities. Moreover, the young actors who play in the series are closely related to the philosophy of Hinduism.

According to Governor Pastika, though its values are universal, but the epic Mahabharata is one story that became the basis of the Hindu teachings. Therefore, the presence of the Mahabharata’s serial actors from India is expected not only bring a positive impact on tourism in Bali, but also the spirit of religious Hindus in Bali.

Governor Pastika said that the existence of many Balinese which are predominantly Hindu, historically cannot be separated from India.

Even Bali is the only one in the world that inherits religious values of  Hindu which was first revealed in India.

“Therefore, the Bali-India diplomatic relations also cannot be separated from the history,” he said.

Governor Pastika also promoted Bali as “The Island of Love”. “The unmarried can choose Bali as a place for a wedding or honeymoon.”

While married, Bali can be a place to reinforce their love, said Pastika.
