Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika appreciated the commitment of the Government of Bangli Regency and its community to maintain the agricultural sector.
The governor hoped Bangli to remain developing the agricultural sector, although the regency has various interesting tourism attractions. “Surely Bangli should be an agricultural area with prosperous farmers,” he said.
To realize a prosperous Bangli in the agricultural sector, Pastika added, he expected assistance from the central government, provincial, and regency to further raise the agricultural sector.
“If it’s necessary, 50 percent of cattle support from provincial government of Bali to be directed to Bangli,” Pastika said.
Meanwhile, Bangli Regent I Made Gianyar expressed gratitude for the various programs of Bali provincial government, which already given to Bangli.
Particularly in the field of tourism, Bangli is currently conducting a study to overcome traffic jam in the tourist area of Batur. A team from Bangli regency is currently reviewing to manage traffic in the region into one direction.
“The study includes the possibility to move the roadside market in order not to worsen the congestion,” said Made Gianyar.
