Government of Badung Regency, Bali, invites public to participate in promoting the tourist village to increase the number of tourists visiting the area.
“This promotion is done to equally spread tourism development between the Southern and Northern parts of Badung,” said Head of Tourism Badung Cok Raka Darmawan during the implementation of the promotion and marketing of tourism village in Badung Regency at Paint Ball Field, Bongkasa Pertiwi, Abiansemal district on Sunday.
According to him, Badung Regency currently has 11 tourism villages that still need to be developed so that could be an alternative choice for tourists who will visit Badung.
Tourism Village which will be introduced is Tourism Village of Bongkasa Pertiwi of Abiansemal district. This promotion should be done to increase the number of travelers who come to the village of Bongkasa Pertiwi.
With the highly competitiveness of global tourism, tourism actors should be able to adjust the strategy in an effort to promote the potentials that exist in Bali in general and especially in Badung regency.
The tourism actors such as HPI, Asita and Travel Agents are expected to give support and take part to cooperate in promoting Bongkasa Pertiwi village, because it already has decent potential to be promoted and has met the criteria to be Tourism Village.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Bongkasa Pertiwi tourism village program I Wayan Martana stated that Bongkasa village consists of three hamlets, Banjar Karangdalem I, Karangdalem II, and Tegal Kuning.
“The presence of tourists in the village of Bongkasa Pertiwi has been started since 1997 that began with the attractions of Bali Adventure Rafting,” he said.
Currently, Bongkasa Pertiwi has various tourism attractions such as Rafting, HTV, Paint Ball and Silver craft.
“We hope to HPI, Asita, Travel Agent and tourism actors can give support moreover tourists who come to Bongkasa Pertiwi is more than 500 per day,” he said.
