Porter of Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, was rushed to Kasih Ibu hospital, Kedonganan, Badung regency, due to accidently hit an airplane’s propellers of Wings Air.

“The victim suffered serious injuries to the head,” said Chief of the Division of Medical Services of Kasih Ibu Hospital, dr. Anak Agung Diah on Tuesday.

The injuries sustained by M Musinin (18) from Lombok, NTB, were at the front to the back of his head which was torn 10×3 centimeters.  However Diah ensured the injury is not classified as fatal. “The depth of the wound is only one centimeter,” he said.

In addition, there is a wound in the face right under the nose to the cheek which is scratched. “The wound is just a scratch and had been given a medicine. While the wound in the head had been stitched up,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations and Legal AP I Ngurah Rai International Airport, Shivelly Sansaoci, revealed that the incident began when the victim who had worked for a month was out and shut the aircraft baggage.

However, the victim crossed into the right side of the plane through the lower fuselage when the propeller was on or “start engine”.

The Airport Authority planned to do an investigation towards this incident, moreover there’s rumor saying that the victim was trying to steal money before the accident happen.
