Denpasar Transportation Department admitted that it is hard to prepare vehicles parking lot in an attempt to untangle the traffic congestion in the capital city of Bali Province due to land availability constraint.

“So far there are still a lot of roads in the city of Denpasar which is used for parking vehicles and we agreed one solution to handle congestion is by providing parking lot,” said the Head of Denpasar Transportation Department I Gede Astika, in Denpasar.

Denpasar Transportation Department has actually been thought to provide parking lot. However, the plan is very hard to be realized due to land availability.

“To make parking lot requires a wide area while looking for land in Denpasar is pretty hard,” he said.

Therefore, he has pursued to explore the land owners to cooperate with Denpasar Government through Regional Company of Parking in realizing the parking lot.
