RENON ~ Bali Governor I Made Mangku Pastika has warned his staff and other government officials they must not participate in any corrupt practices.
Governor Pastika said to avoid accusations of corruption, officials should report every use of money from government budgets.
Pastika said he would be embarrassed to see any of his staff being investigated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
“I am unwilling to see my officials investigated by because the chief of KPK is a close friend,” he said.
Pastika also warned officials to be careful how they use their budgets, as the chief of the KPK would be concentrating on the usage of the regional budget in 2009.
