Legislator Highlights the Damaged Provincial and Regencies’ Roads

Member of Commission III of Bali Legislative Council Ketut Kariyasa Adnyana proposed to the provincial and local governments to repair damaged roads.

“I’ve suggested governor, regents and mayor to improve highway as public facilities which become regencies’ and local government’ authority,” he said in Denpasar.

He also has to communicate with the Governor Pastika and the regents and mayor in planning roads improvements under the Provincial Government control.

“I’ve communicated to the governor, regents and the local mayor, in order to repair the damaged road starting this year,” he said.

According to Kariyasa Adnyana, the damaged roads which are under the authority of provincial government, local government and municipal government are quite long.

“I have accommodated general suggestions and complaints from people, and it can be concluded that one of the complaints is the damaged roads,” he said.

Therefore, the community is also expected to actively report road conditions and show participation in taking care of it, so severe damage can be reduced optimally.

Based on the data, the length of roads that become the Province of Bali’s authority is 850 kilometers (km). Damage on roads belonging to the province are occur almost in all areas of Bali and planned to be improved gradually.
