DENPASAR ~ A housewife from Jl. Gunung Salak, Denpasar, was seriously injured when her motorcycle was allegedly hit from behind by a motorcycle ridden by two French tourists, an official said.

Witnesses at the scene on Jl. Raya Kerobokan said Ni Wayan Rati, 39, was hit by the motorcycle driven by Michel, 49 with Veronique Dutay, 28, on the back.

According to reports, Michel was driving too fast to stop in time and hit Rati as she was trying to turn.

“The police came quickly and took all three crash victims to Sanglah Hospital,” a friend of Rati said.
