BULELENG ~ A Dutch resident of Kayuputih Malacca village, Sukasada, Buleleng, was found was found dead in his villa on May 7, police said.

Buleleng Police spokesman Made Sudirsa said Martinus Jacobus Maria Sikking, 61, was found by Anita, 19, who is thought to be his girlfriend after he split from his wife.

Anita claimed when she found Sikking he was naked and had wounds to his body and head.

Sudirsa said police had found no signs of violence on Sikking’s body or in his house, and said he most likely sustained the head injury when he fell.

He said several locals who were questioned about Sikking’s death said he took medication for heart problems, which was confirmed by the finding of the medication in his house.

“We don’t yet know for certain the man’s cause of death but an autopsy was performed at Buleleng General Hospital shortly after he was found dead. For the time being we are assuming he died from a heart attack,” Sudirsa said.
