Bali Provincial Narcotics Agency (BNP) take step towards the circulation of foods containing drug by anticipating and monitoring along with Agency of drug and food control (BBPOM), even though until now, his party has not yet received any reports or findings related to foods containing narcotic substance in Bali.

“Together with BBPOM we will hold foods and drugs testing if there are findings that endanger the public, and the objects will be confiscated for investigation,” Chief of BNP Bali Brigadier General Gusti Ketut Budiartha explained.in Denpasar on Wednesday

Although there is no finding such as cakes containing marijuana produced in one of the apartments in Tangerang, Banten, Budiartha explained that drugs are still spreaded in Bali such as magic mushrooms.

In Law on Narcotics, magic mushrooms or psilocybin mushroom is included in the category of narcotics group I. His side intensively held guidance to officers and the public regarding to the new types of narcotics.

Previously there was chocolate cake containing marijuana that was done by the suspects who had been captured by the police authorities from the production house in Tangerang, Banten Province. Therefore, relevant parties such as BNN (The National Narcotics Agency), police and other relevant agencies are aggressively investigating the circulation of food related narcotic in Indonesia.
