The Badung government’s income for 2007 is forecast at Rp695 billion but spending will be at Rp772 billion, the regent said this week.

The deficit, however, will be covered by a surplus for 2006, AA Gde Agung said.

Large areas of spending would cover education, agriculture and tourism, he said.
