SEMARAPURA ~ Police said they suspect a man jailed on January 19 for his part in organizing an illegal lottery ring is still conducting business from his jail cell.

Klungkung Police chief Moch. Yudi Hartanto said they suspect, Dewa Ketut Sujana, alias Dewa Grokgak, who was a government employee at the time of his arrest, was still in contact with a close business partner.

According to informants, Grokgak has had a constant stream of visitors since he was arrested, many of whom police suspect to be business associates.

Hartanto said the arrest of Grokgak was only the beginning of the investigation, as his officers now had more work to do watching the movements of Grokgak’s associates.
