Bring back Bali’s ancient values, and make the culture stronger and more alive in society. Nowadays a lot of Balinese tend to forget about their traditions and culture.

Some areas are secure but others less so.

I think it has to put more focus on developing the tourism sector.

What are the challenges that lie ahead?

Living in a world of culture and technology, and how the two mix. Eastern people are more interested in their culture rather than technology, but there needs to be a balance.

Where is the hottest spot in Bali right now?

I like some temples that are still virginal and holy, like Tirta Empul Temple and Besakih Temple. Some temples have lost their sacred value, because too many tourists go there.
