Promoting Bali more, and improving the quality of education. And the Balinese should not be so judgmental about Indonesians from outside Bali, especially the Javanese. The Balinese often think the Javanese are bad and they don’t want to be around them, but that’s not true and the Balinese should be more open-minded about this.
Are you satisfied with the current level of security?
For Bali, yes, but not for the rest of the country. When security is better all round, there will be a lot of benefits, like an increase in foreign investment.
Is the central government doing enough to improve Indonesia?
I think so. The government has been working hard in every area, including tourism and security.
What are the challenges that lie ahead?
For the Balinese, accepting Indonesian cultures and beliefs other than their own. In Bali there is a mixture of the country’s people.
Where’s the hottest spot in Bali right now?
Ubud, Tampaksiring and Bedugul are good for relaxing. Kuta is also good because it’s got so many facilities.
