Both companies will form a firm named PT Waskita Bali Mandara that will specifically work on toll roads that the pre-feasibility study has been completed by Waskita Karya.
Finance Director of Waskita Toll Road (WTR), Feri Purwadi revealed four toll roads in Bali is one of the investment priorities. He also explained WTR has acquired eight business entities for the highway.
“This step is a prerequisite for Waskita as initiators of the construction of a toll road in Bali,” he said in Denpasar on Monday.
According to Ferry, the formation of PT Waskita Bali Mandara (WBM) is a positive development in plan to build a toll road in Bali. Managing Director of Perusda Bali, Nyoman Baskara revealed WBM targeted at this October already get a certificate attestation of Kemenkumham.
He said the company will capitalize minimum of Rp20 billion, the ownership, 25% of Perusda Bali, and 75% of WTR. WBM will make a presentation to the Toll Road Operating Board (BPJT) to get some sort of license toll roads that will connect Denpasar-Buleleng.
Baskara stated until now has not been decided option for the toll construction model. However, of the three options ever offered Waskita during a presentation to Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika, the third option is the most possible.
Because, this option is claimed to be the most minimal land acquisition which is the biggest problem in any toll road construction. As an option, as stated in RTRW Bali is expected to require huge release cost.
“No decision, but the third option which is made based on the results of a survey is more possible to take,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika appreciated the toll road construction in Bali. He hoped that this plan can be realized as soon as it becomes an important part in the distribution of development efforts Bali.
He asked Waskita to design time frame of the toll roads construction.
Previously, Waskita had proposed to work on 4 toll road that connects South-West-North of Bali. The four toll roads include Kuta-Canggu -Tanah Lot-Soka, Soka-Pekutatan, Pekutatan-Gilimanuk and Pekutatan-Lovina.
Total of the toll roads are planned throughout 156.7 KM including Kuta-Canggu-Tanah Lot -Soka (28 Km), Soka-Pekutatan (25.1 Km), Pekutatan-Gilimanuk (54.4 Km) and Pekutatan- Lovina (46.7 Km). The cost for the entire segment was estimated at Rp34,379 trillion. In order to smooth out this plan, the party had conducted a survey in order to complete the pre-feasibility study.
The survey is focused on the analysis of the development of the region, traffic projections, the selection of the trace with a review of the environmental aspects, cost and technical, construction cost estimates, economic analysis and financial analysis.
For Kuta-Canggu-Tanah Lot-Soka, there are three alternatives, those are: trace 1, which refers to the RTRW, trace 2 which passes through the beach and trace 3 by utilizing the flow of the river. Alternative passing through the river gets the highest choices and economically most likely to work on.
