US Couple Sentenced to 18 and 10 Years for Murder

DENPASAR ~

United States citizens Tommy Schaefer (21) was sentenced to 18 years in prison by Denpasar District Court panel in the case of the murder of Sheila Ann Von Wiese.

The verdict of judges panel is equal to the demands of the prosecutor in the previous session.

Judge Chairman Made Suweda mentioned a few things that incriminate the defendant punishment, including premeditated murder.

Meanwhile, in a separate file, the defendant lover Heather Lois Mack (19), the victim’s daughter, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for assisting the premeditated murder.

Heather punishment was given lighter than the demands of the prosecutor which was 15 years in prison in the previous session. It was because the accused regretted her action and now has a new baby born a few months ago.

However thing that incriminate the punishment is because she helped the premeditated murder on her own mother with Tommy without any sense of humanity.

The incident that occurred on August 12, 2014 at 8:40 pm in room number 317 Hotel St. Regis, Nusa Dua, Bali was motivated by Tommy’s disappointment against the victim who did not approve his relationship with Mack.
