Chinese tourists visiting Bali gave a positive assessment of many restaurants that they’ve visited while in the island, and they share it with the Chinese-speaking audience through Dianping.com site.

Among restaurants in Bali, Bumbu Bali Rock Bar at Ayana, Bamboo Bar & Grill and Seafood House get high score from tourists.
“We provide information about restaurants, hotels, and a variety of matters related to the services sector in various places in China and abroad. In India, for example, there was visitor that gave four and a half star for Taj Mahal , which means it is well worth visiting, “he said.
According to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Bali Province, the number of Chinese tourists visiting Bali in the period January-July 2015 reached 422 922 people, up 28% over the same period in the previous year.
For many people inside and outside China who want to do vacation, the information derived from the results of the assessment of people who’ve been to places like restaurants and attractions are an important reference, said Jerry Huang.
According to him, the company that stood since 2003 serves as a bridge of information and business transactions between consumers and businesses from the service sector, such as restaurants, hotels, and movie theaters in China as well as a source of reliable information about other countries.
With the number of “page views” at 20 billion and 200 million of active visitors per month, Dianping.Com is growing rapidly as one of the important reference for many parties in Tiongkok, including potential investors and tourists, who want to travel abroad, he said.
Business potential generated through Dianping.Com was quite big with a total value of transactions in 2012 reached six billion yuan, and its value is expected to climb to 70 billion yuan in 2015, he said.
“Therefore, the assessment of the visitors of our website is a very important asset not only for businesses but also for governments of countries that are often visited by tourists or even the target of Chinese investment,” he said.
The same view was also presented by Sun Haiyan, director general of Bureau of Public Information and Communications International Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party who accompanied the visit of foreign journalists to the headquarters of Dianping.Com.
