DENPASAR ~ A university professor was found dead in his room at a boarding house on Jl. Palau Ambon, Denpasar, on Wednesday, an official said.

According to information from witnesses, Sugeng Wahyono was extremely quiet and introverted and rarely left his room.

Coordinator of Forensics at Sanglah Hospital Dr. Dudut Rustyadi said based on an autopsy that was carried out, Wahyono had died of natural causes.

Meanwhile, Sanglah Hospital officials confirmed they were also investigating the death of Swiss tourist Martin Anderson, 33, who was found dead in his room at a Kuta hotel.

Hospital officials said preliminary findings suggested Anderson had died of an acute disease.
