According to Jansen’s account, GWL had booked an ojol ride from Puri Kelapa Quest By Bukit Villa to Villa Asri Jimbaran. The ride was picked up by WD.
“During the journey, the victim (GWL) was engaged in conversation by the perpetrator, distracting her from monitoring the map,” Jansen recounted.
Upon arriving at an isolated empty plot, Jansen continued, WD veered the motorcycle off course and instructed GWL to alight. The man from Jember, East Java, then allegedly attempted to sexually assault GWL, even resorting to physical violence.
WD reportedly choked GWL and covered her mouth, leaving the 26-year-old woman in a life-threatening situation. Displaying incredible courage, GWL fought back, using a mineral water bottle to fend off her attacker.
