Jakarta – Adult film actress Bonnie Blue, also known as Tia Emma Billinger, has once again drawn public backlash after a video circulated online showing what many consider inappropriate treatment of Indonesia’s national flag, the Red-and-White.
The video, which spread widely across social media platforms, depicts the Indonesian flag being handled in a manner widely viewed as disrespectful. The footage quickly triggered public outrage, with many Indonesians condemning the act as a violation of respect toward a national symbol.
Social media users flooded timelines with criticism, calling for the reporting and removal of Bonnie Blue’s accounts. Several comments emphasized that the Indonesian flag must never touch the ground, underscoring the cultural and symbolic weight attached to the Red-and-White.
As of Tuesday (December 23, 2025), around 1:14 p.m. local time, Bonnie Blue’s Instagram account (@bonnieblue) was no longer accessible. The page displayed a notice stating, “Profile isn’t available,” indicating the account had been deactivated or removed. A similar status was found on another account, @onlybonnieblue.
Responding to the incident, Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Indonesian Embassy in London (KBRI London) has coordinated with the central government and relevant authorities in the United Kingdom.
“The Indonesian Embassy in London has submitted an official complaint to the relevant authorities in the UK, including the UK Foreign Office and local police, for further handling in accordance with applicable laws, procedures, and jurisdiction,” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela on Tuesday.
As of publication, no official statement has been issued by Bonnie Blue regarding the video.
