Tourism Department of Denpasar City, Bali, continues to improve the promotion of ecotourism in the village of Kesiman Kertalangu, to attract local and foreign tourists. Head of Tourism Department of Denpasar Wayan Gunawan, in Denpasar, on Saturday said that the development of ecotourism carried out in the village of Kesiman Kertalangu remain a true local culture.
Wayan Gunawan stated that the purpose of development of ecotourism in the region also to save the environment in the village.
“The promotion of ecotourism and cultural tourism in the village of Kertalangu is expected to be a different attraction for tourists,” he said.
He acknowledged, with the participation of Denpasar city administration in the development of ecotourism through promotional efforts, it is also expected to become a tourist destination that continues to be well known by foreign tourists who come to Denpasar, Bali.
In developing this tourist destination, he expected the Village Head of Kesiman Kertalangu do an active role to coordinate the entire community in order to comply with applicable agreements according to the rules.
According to him, local and foreign tourists are deeply interested towards Kesiman Kertalangu village.
Then, the location of tourism development in the area is quite strategic and the green line that has been set by the village is still maintained and that attracts local and foreign tourists.
He added that, in developing the agro-tourism in Kesiman Kertalangu, there will be cooperation or MoU between the manager and the people who have certificate of land ownership.
However, in the development of the agro tourism, will still involve the government of Denpasar to develop the tourism village and also the people of the village.
