Bali Provincial Parliament (DPRD) of Commission III to open a dialogue in order to listen to the views and aspirations of society, either supporting or rejecting reclamation at Benoa Bay, Badung.
“We will call the pro towards revitalizing or reclamation of Benoa Bay to explain clearly what the benefits to Bali when the revitalization is conducted. So do the opposite, counter parties are also asked to present their ideas why they reject the revitalization,” said Commission III Chairman of DPRD Bali Nengah Tamba in Denpasar on Friday.
Beside to call pro and cons party, the DPRD also will invite the investors in this case Tirta Bali Forum International (TWBI) that will be asked to describe the study clearly what the benefits of Bali Benoa Bay revitalization through a comprehensive study.
“For the meantime, we will adjust the existing agenda, because there are many programs that have to be resolved,” he said.
He felt the need to open up a dialogue in order to absorb the aspirations of the people, and coordinate with chairman of Board and cross-faction in parliament Bali. The aim of this dialogue is in order to make the people could objectively see the reclamation project.
It aims to avoid polemics which is even longer for the people of Bali. Later aspirations articulated by both the pro or cons then will be handed over to a team of experts to examine more in social, cultural, environmental, and economic.
