Rite: Thousands of people from the Sukawati area of Gianyar filled the streets on Monday as they performed a pre-cremation ritual, Mendak Naga Banda, for deceased king Ida Tjokorda Gede Oka Karang of Negara Palace, who died in July. The cremation will be held this coming Sunday.
