Happy Birthday, Denpasar: Residents took to the streets of Bali’s capital in their traditional finery at the weekend and earlier this week as Denpasar celebrated its 16th birthday. A string of city-wide cultural events was staged to mark the occasion. Previously, Denpasar was ruled by Badung Regency, but has since become its own self-governing district.
