Ancient Attraction: Dating back to the 11th century, the Gunung Kawi Hindu temple in Tampaksiring near Ubud is among Bali’s oldest manmade structures. Featuring 10 shrines dramatically carved into a rock-face, it is believed to have been ordered by King Anak Wungsu from the Udayana dynasty.
