See Food: Tens of thousands of newly hatched crabs gather at the edge of a stream on Petitenget Beach, drying themseves in the searing midday sun, on Sunday. Known locally as utung utung, these tiny crustaecans live in the sand, grow no larger than a human forefingers, and can be eaten when adult.
