Village of the Dead

Macabre: Tourists enter the unusual burial ground at Trunyan village on the shores of Lake Batur in Kintamani regency. There, the dead are laid out to decompose, but there is no stench because, according to local lore, of the presence of a mystical tree.  Full report below. (Photo: The Bali Times)
