New Deal: Singaporean flowboarder Alfian Affandi has been signed by Australian surfwear-maker Billabong, in the first such professional sponsorship for the emerging sport. Flowboarding is a mix of surfing, bodyboarding, skateboarding and snowboarding that is done on artifical waves.
