YOGYAKARTA

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit the Central Java city of Yogyakarta late on Friday, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said.

The quake struck at 9:42pm 126 kilometres southeast of the Wonosari area at a depth of 32 kilometres, the agency reported on Saturday.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or structural damage.
