Fresh from meeting the Icelandic president in Bali, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Tuesday met with the Finnish prime minister in Jakarta, where the pair discussed bilateral relations, the State Palace said.

Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen is on a three-day visit to Indonesia, and is reciprocating a visit by Yudhoyono to the Nordic nation in September 2006.

The two leaders discussed matters related to both countries, as well as global issues, the palace said.

Accompanying Vanhanen are several Finnish and European Union business officials.

Yudhoyono met Icelandic President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson in Bali on Monday at the opening of a global summit on geothermal energy.
