DENPASAR
The Tourism Workers Union has asked Governor I Made Mangku Pastika to set a minimum monthly wage of Rp1.3 million (US$141) for its members.
The current minimum monthly wage is between Rp800,000 and Rp1 million.
Union chief Putu Satyawira said surveys conducted by the union showed a minimum of Rp1.3 million was needed to meet basic living costs.
