NUSA DUA ~ Former US President Bill Clinton and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg are expected to be among international achievers who will attend the 61st International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) World Congress in Nusa Dua from May 24 to 28.

“President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to inaugurate the FIABCI World Congress in Bali, and also to give a keynote speech regarding global issues and continuous economic development,” national public housing minister Soeharso Monoarfa said this week.

The 2010 conference at Nusa Dua, themed Save the World: Green Shoots for Sustainable Real Estate, will bring together hundreds of delegates from 60 countries including property developers, brokers, consultants, lawyers and government officials.

FIABCI’s membership consists of 120 real estate organisations representing 1.5 million professionals and 3,300 real estate practitioners.

Chairman of the Indonesian real estate central board, Teguh Satria, said Indonesia would use the congress to urge property stakeholders from around the world to commit to sustainable development.
