DENPASAR ~ The bodies of two students were found drowned after an extensive search of Berawa and Batu Belig beaches by Benoa coastguards on Tuesday, an official said.

Head of Benoa Coastgurd Rai Suawandhi said Riki Artawan, 14, and Ahmad Nurjayadi, 12, were reported missing by their friend I Wayan Agustina, 12, who had also been swimming with them on Monday afternoon.

“On the morning of the day after the boys went missing, both bodies were found by locals on the beaches,” Suawandhi said.

He said the bodies of the boys were taken to their respective homes.
