Good Fortune: Thousands of tourists, domestic and international, converged on the holy Hindu site of Tanah Lot in Tabanan regency and on the west coast of Bali on Sunday afternoon. While many strolled around and took in the spectacular location of the rock temple, others were blessed by priests at a shrine (at right) while – possibly spurred by these uncertain economic times – lines formed (at left) to touch “Holy Snakes” in a cave to receive good luck.
