New Arrival: In what is thought to be the first of its kind for Bali, an elephant was born at the newly opened Bali Safari and Marine Park in Gianyar on Sunday. The male Sumatran elephant weighed 70 kilograms and was one meter long, and has been separated with his mother from others in the herd for three months. The park currently has 31 other elephants, including Indian and Thai species.
