DENPASAR ~ One factor in a decrease in shoppers at traditional markets is the lack government promotion, an official has said.
Executive Director of the Bali Sudhamala Foundation Harry Simorangkir said the foundation had begun to cooperate with the Denpasar Industry and Commerce Department to give guidance on marketing and law issues to market traders.
He said the traders would be taught how to promote their products through the internet, and become part of the global market.
“Legal issues were also important when making transactions with consumers.
“Traders could suffer if they don’t understand commerce regulations,” head of the Industry and Commerce Department Laxmy Saraswati said.
