Alliance Francaise (AF), French-language education schools that accommodate students of primary school level (elementary), junior high school (SMP) and senior high school (SMA) in Bali were closed for three days, after the terrorist bombings in French.
The atmosphere of the school which is located at Banjar Umaalas, Kerobokan, Badung, Bali seemed quiet because the school was closed temporarily on Monday.
Director of AF Bali Amandine Grisard said, three-days holiday for all students for the period of mourning as sympathy and solidarity to the victims of terrorist acts that occurred in Paris on Friday (13/11) night local time.
Of the incident which caused many casualties, French government decreed three days of mourning as sympathy and solidarity towards the victims.
“As a form of sympathy for the victims, Alliance Francaise Bali set a holiday period of learning and teaching, for three days, 15 to 17 November 2015,” said Amandine Grisard.
Amandine Grisard admitted, all activities including French language classes were closed. Seminar on the impact of climate change will be held at Udayana University campus on November 17 also canceled.
Teaching and learning activities in the AF was scheduled to resume as normal on Wednesday 18 November.
