Pilot from Surabaya to Denpasar Offers Widow

DENPASAR

Splashy action was done by Lion Air pilot from Surabaya-Denpasar to become spotlight and reap complaints from airline passengers who feel very uncomfortable with it.

This time, one of passenger of Lion Air complained to DGCA because one of the pilots had been harassing and making passengers uncomfortable during the flight.

The pilot with the aircraft numbered 990 JT Surabaya-Denpasar route is stated offering widow  flight attendant to passengers as compensation for flight delays.

Passengers who make written report to DGCA is Lambertus Maengkom.

Lambertus and other passengers absurdly shocked when they heard  pilot of the plane through the speakers was offering a widow stewardess.

“We want to ask the Director General of Transportation, whether it is a standard procedure of  Lion Air Pilot to offer widow flight attendant to passengers many times through the microphone,” wrote Lambertus in his complaint in bandara.web.id website.

The weird behavior of the pilot was continuing, said Lambertus. As the plane took off, from the speaker of the plane there was sighs.

“There was a strange noise and sighs during the flight. It makes passengers frightened and wondered if the pilot in unsanitary conditions, drunk or under the influence of drugs,” wrote Lambertus again.

As the plane landed at Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar, Bali, on Saturday, the curious passengers were waiting in front of the aircraft to meet the pilot.

“But the pilot did not want to meet us. In fact, he laughed and raised his hand like a challenge,” he said again.

It was also very regrettable for Lambertus and other passengers. Brought by such kind of pilot, their lives was obviously at stake.

“The airport and Lion Air officials were reluctant to tell the name of the pilot. It is very embarrassing if Lion Air has a standard pilots who undergo such a procedure. For the sake of the safety of the flight service, we are waiting for a back response,” he said again.

Head of Public Relations of Lion Air, Andy Saladin claimed that he has not received report about the case.

But he said it would conduct a thorough investigation and if true it happened, the pilot will receive strict punishment.

“Not yet, we have not received the report. We have just heard this,” said PR of Lion Air, Andy Saladin on Monday night.
